Beautiful large 'Gatto' table lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, Italy 1960. This vintage 'Cocoon' lamp is made of liquid resin-coated threads sprayed around a metal frame, like a cocoon. Over the years, this material has taken on a warm beige color. This gives a warm atmosphere even when the lamp is off. The lamp has a unique, organic design reminiscent of a hot air balloon. Marked and in good vintage condition. Three very minor damages on the back, see photo. D35xH56cm
