Product description
This clothes cabinet was designed by Vichr & spol. in the 1930s and later manufactured by Kovona in the 1950s in the former Czechoslovakia. The piece represents residential furniture from Central Europe shaped by Bauhaus-influenced modernist principles, with an emphasis on clarity, function, and restrained detailing. The cabinet is made of oak wood and features chromed metal elements. The chrome surfaces are well preserved, while the wooden structure remains solid. Overall wear is consistent with age. The interior clothes rod shows a slight curve, which does not affect function or stability. The cabinet is fully functional and ready for immediate use. Its clean lines and practical interior make it suitable for bedroom or dressing spaces, as well as interiors focused on early modern furniture.
