Beautiful Mazda architect/designer lamp from the 30s and 40s, in exceptional condition.
It features the emblematic five-pointed star of Mazda, a historic French manufacturer (Compagnie des Lampes). Fully restored, it features brass and aluminum components and a beautiful all-black livery in all-original enamel paint. With its refurbished electrics and linen-textured wiring, it's an elegant, ready-to-install lamp.
These ball-jointed lamps with articulated arms were designed for designers and architects, and their design is very similar to that of the GRAS lamps so appreciated by Le Corbusier.
A beautiful, high-quality lamp, a precious relic of French industrial lighting design.
