A small jewelry box of great delicacy, molded from satiny pink glass with pearly reflections. Its three-lobed shape, suggested by three rounded lobes that form a heart, gives it an immediately recognizable silhouette. The lid and the inside of the base each feature a seagull in flight, acid-etched into the body of the glass. The satiny glass plays with the light in a particularly captivating way. Its matte surface captures the ambient light and diffuses it into a soft glow, while the polished interior reflects the light with greater intensity. This type of pink pressed glass box, with engraved animal decoration, is characteristic of French or Bohemian glass production from the 1930s-1950s, in the style of Lalique's creations. Approximately 12 cm wide, 10 cm deep. The glass is in beautiful condition, possessing the subtle charm of objects that have spanned several decades.
