The "Ant Chair", model 3100, was originally designed by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen (1902 - 1971) for the canteen of the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. This 1950’s chair is made of a beautiful molded teak plywood, with a three-legged base of chromed metal.The veneer is in good condition. No crack in the top layer of the veneer. The backrest has no cracks, also the layer between the veneer is in good condition ( this is a know weak spot for this model).
1 rubber dempers of the metal frame is missing. 2 rubber caps on the legs are missing.
