This work is among the artist's stronger works, in which the dynamic brushstrokes and use of color give a sense of movement. Frits van Eeden (1944-2022) grew up in The Hague. He trained in The Hague and Amsterdam. After working in London for three years, he left for the United States. After a "Best of" show, he was offered a part-time job by the Brevard Art Centre and Museum in Melbourne, Florida. The first prize was a solo exhibition at the museum and a teaching job at the academy. In 1966, he became a working member of Pulchri Studio, an artist association in The Hague. His works have been shown in many domestic and international exhibitions.
