This Friso Kramer chair, produced by Wilkhahn in 1966, is a beautiful example of functional Dutch Design. The sleek silhouette and well-thought-out combination of materials make this a timeless piece of furniture that perfectly captures the essence of the sixties.
The chair is crafted with a sturdy wooden frame and a comfortable seat and backrest. The warm wood tones contrast beautifully with the dark upholstery, creating a balanced and distinctive look. The design is typical of Friso Kramer's minimalist and practical approach.
The chair shows appropriate signs of wear commensurate with its age (see photos) and use. There is a small tear on the top of the backrest (see photo). Perhaps a nice detail: Friso Kramer restored the tear on top of the chair himself.
