Exclusive, collector's item: 'Big Bowl' designed by Tom Dixon, 2002. Includes authentic certificate, item number 21 in a limited series of 249. Produced in London. This item is one of the first from this collection. It is a collector's item made of plastic as a flexible and recyclable product and unique design material. Included in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum. The bowl is one piece and is made of Eastman Provista, PETG co-polyester. The hot, fresh polymer is released evenly at a high temperature, causing the plastic to bond and take the desired shape. The Provista plastic takes on a glass-like clarity as it solidifies. This piece is handmade, making it a completely unique design. First owner; object is in perfect condition. This object has been valued at €700 - €950 by an international art and design expert.
