A striking French floor lamp from the 1960s/70s with a sculptural hourglass shape and a delicate construction of dark-stained rattan and bamboo. The fine vertical struts enclose a fabric inner shade, creating a particularly warm and atmospheric play of light when switched on. The open structure results in a light, almost graphic appearance, typical of French Organic Modern designs of this period.
The organic form, combined with the use of natural materials and handcrafted workmanship, lends the lamp a decorative yet elegant character. Ideal as atmospheric accent lighting in mid-century, boho, or postmodern interiors.
