This 1940s Art Deco armchair originates from France and was crafted in the distinctive style of designer Francis Jourdain. Both the seat and the backrest feature an intricate, diagonally woven rush caning. The frame is made of heavy, dark patinated oak wood. A special highlight are the notched carvings on the front legs and the front apron. The armchair has wide, flat armrests and stands on sturdy sledge legs.
