Handmade antique marble and wood bedside table from the 20s.
This Art Deco oakwood nightstand features a marble top, an open shelf with a small drawer, and a cabinet door with carved floral detailing.
The stylized floral woodcarving on the door panel and the geometric, stepped foot design are hallmarks of the organic "Floral Art Deco" sub-style that bridged early Art Nouveau aesthetics with modern, structured Art Deco lines.
A beautiful one-off
Good vintage condition - the marble is in good condition for its age-age-related signs of wear on the wooden sufaces and feet-some wormholes on the feet and chassis - as can be seen in the pictures.
