Product description
Elegant, free-blown art glass vase by Freiherr von Poschinger in Frauenau. The frosted, mother-of-pearl-like iridescent surface is entwined by an applied pink-violet glass thread overlay. Small knots and drop-shaped thickenings, as well as the softly wavy rim, are part of the deliberately free-formed design. The production by Freiherr von Poschinger is very well documented by an almost identical comparative piece with a preserved original label. The attribution to the "Fleur" series, to designer Martin Weinberger, and to the 1970s is considered a strong, but not yet conclusively catalogically confirmed attribution. The changing play of colors is particularly beautiful in lateral daylight or targeted lighting. A decorative collector's item of German studio glass from the 1970s.
