Franz Welz (attributed) – Bohemian Tango Glass – ca. 1930 – Orange with Cobalt Blue – 24 cm. Beautiful antique vase in opaline Tango glass, an iconic piece from the Art Deco period. This collector's item, produced in Bohemia, displays the characteristic vibrant orange color with contrasting cobalt blue details. The design with the characteristic ribbed structure is often attributed to renowned manufacturers such as Kralik or Welz. A stylish addition to any collection or interior. Shape: Baluster-shaped with a flared, irregular (lobed) top rim and vertical ribs. Material: Mouth-blown opaline (Tango glass) with applied blue glass threads/details. Time period: Circa 1925-1930, Art Deco period. Origin: Bohemia (Czech Republic), likely produced by Welz. Colors: Bright orange (tomato red/tango) with contrasting dark cobalt blue/black on the rim and trails. Dimensions: HxWxD (Weight): 24cm x Ø14cm (604g)
