Dusépulchre was a self-taught artist, but later taught plastic arts at L'École Normale de l'État de Mons.
Dusépulchre's first works of art were characterized by an imaginative and surrealist figuration. In the late 1960s, however, he abandoned figurative art altogether and focused on minimalist, constructivist art. His abstract art is best described as monochromatic, sculptural work, as he combines sculpture and painting. His works are primarily monochromatic, but because of the sculptural aspect of his work, he plays with light and shadow.
Dusépulchre designed a number of monumental works. Among others, these can be admired at the museum in Mariemont and the Beaux Arts metro station in Charleroi. His work is also in many collections and museums, including the Museum of Ixelles, the Museum of Modern Art in Brussels and the S.M.A.K. in Ghent.
