Francesco Piccolo (1990) is an emerging artist of Fluid Abstraction, a movement within Art Informel that focuses on the pure movement of color. Transcending the canons of traditional painting, Piccolo allows the material to express itself freely: each of his works stems from a gesture that fuses energy and harmony, transforming the canvas into a unique visual event. His research ventures into the realm of "controlled chaos," resulting in original and unrepeatable pieces.
RWP6 (2024) is a recently created, one-of-a-kind piece characterized by a vibrant explosion of color. Through the Liquid Acrylic Pouring technique, the mixed pigments repel each other due to surface tension, generating a complex cellular structure and organic veining reminiscent of the depths of the cosmos or living stone.
The truly distinctive element lies in the material finish: unlike common flat canvases, the artist intervenes after drying with the Resin Drop technique. The manual application of drops of epoxy resin crystallizes three-dimensional points of light on the surface. These inserts act like small optical lenses that capture environmental reflections, making the work dynamic and iridescent. The viewer's gaze thus discovers ever-new details, in a play of refractions that changes depending on the angle and light.
- Autographed signature, with title and date, on the back of the canvas.
- Certificate of Authenticity issued by the artist.
- Perfect condition
