An atmospheric original artwork with an expressive, almost sketch-like depiction of a nocturnal scene. The composition combines watercolor-like areas of color in shades of blue and gray with spontaneous black lines and figurative elements. At the center is a group of seated figures around a bright light source, while individual standing figures at the edges create an almost theatrical atmosphere. The loose execution and handwritten notes in the upper part of the image lend the work a very personal and poetic character. The reduced color palette, intuitive lines, and expressive visual language are reminiscent of European graphic and illustration art from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The work is framed behind glass and bears a previous gallery or distributor label from Graphik International on the back. The combination of drawing, watercolor effect, and handwritten fragments creates a decorative art object with a strong atmosphere and narrative impact.
