This set of four Thonet dining chairs by the Italian manufacturer Italcomma brings a classic silhouette to the modern dining area. The design draws on the rich tradition of bentwood furniture, where the rounded shapes and light materials create a timeless look. One of the chairs has had a minor accident in the seat. This is not wear and tear. We simply used it with a round cushion. Cushions are also available. The chairs are crafted from dark brown bentwood, which forms a strong contrast with the light, woven rattan seats and backrests. This use of material, also known as webbing, gives the chairs an airy and organic character. The original Italcomma Pesaro brand sticker is still present under the seat, confirming the provenance of this set. The set is in good condition commensurate with its age and use. The woodwork displays an authentic patina that contributes to the character of the chairs. The rattan seats are functional and retain their distinctive tension. These Italcomma chairs look excellent around a wooden or glass dining table in an eclectic or classic interior. They add warmth and texture to the space and pair well with natural materials and earth tones.
