A set of 4 rare dining chairs. It concerns the model 641P, designed by Rudolf Glatzel for Thonet in the period around 1960-1970. The chairs are made of dark teak and have cream/gray upholstery with a scaly pattern, presumably still original. The chairs are, especially considering their age, still in very good condition. They have only light traces of use on the wood and upholstery. One of the chairs has a loose spring at the bottom of the seat, this is not noticeable when sitting. All 4 chairs are marked at the bottom.
These chairs are a wonderful example of Thonet's craftsmanship - ideal for the dining table, in a stylish conference room or as an eye-catcher in your interior. Comfortable, solid and a true design classic. Price is for the set of 4
