Product description
A subtle, three-armed, gold-plated candlestick from the 1940s. The arms are decorated with simple fluting and are visually set wide apart, giving the whole thing a delicate look, additionally placing a ball-shaped nodus under them. The profitki are shaped prominently, with concave-convex, wavy fluting all around. The whole is set on exceptionally beautiful stands with a biscuit-like, concave-convex decoration.
Plating is a process in which thin layers of a more precious metal, usually silver or gold, are applied to a less noble metal. This is a method known and used for centuries to decorate and refine all utility items, giving them corrosion-preventing, surface-hardening and bactericidal properties. Such a finish ensures increased durability, shine and timelessness of the item.
