The original Top-Sit chair. Design classic from the sixties!
Design by Winfried Staeb.
Production in the former East Germany where this material (hard PUR, lacquered) was widely used at the time for everyday but robust design products.
The lacquer work is of good quality and looks particularly good.
Produced by Reuters Product for the label "Form + Life" in the 60's. Probably 1969. A lot of hand work after the chair comes out of the mold, then finish painting.
Furniture is not made this beautiful and special anymore!
