Vintage "Black and White" pendant lamp by Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni for Flos Italy 1970s. This lamp is a Bauhaus classic from the 70s. It can illuminate the room completely or can be dimmed and only directed downwards. Great glass with silver/metal in the center. Mid - Century lamp with opal glass bowl for diffused light. For concentrated light, a polished aluminum reflector is attached to the base with a silver curved reflector bulb. "Black &White" name comes from the different colors the lamp shows when a single part is switched on. The lamp was designed in 1965 by Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni for Flos. The first version was made with a metal holder, then with a plastic holder. Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. The total height of the chandelier is 115 cm. The chandelier weighs 7 kg.
