A sculptural light object exploring transformation and the passage of time.
“Floral Light I — The Quiet Season” is composed of three circular elements, each containing a dried floral composition captured at a different stage of disintegration.
Rather than repetition, the piece introduces variation — moving from a more intact form towards increasing fragmentation.
The sequence suggests a quiet progression, where structure slowly gives way to dispersion.
Encased in resin and softly illuminated from below, the material reveals subtle depth and texture.
The light does not define the object, but gently uncovers what is already present.
Compared to later works in the series, this piece remains more open and intuitive — allowing irregularity, imbalance and material behaviour to shape the final composition.
A one-off object, situated between lighting and sculpture, capturing a moment of transition rather than a fixed state.
