Floor lamp: 'Mezzaluna' - Crescent Moon.
Design: Bruno Gecchelin in 1975.
Released at: Skipper Italy.
Materials: chrome, marble, plastic. Lighting:
Halogen with dimmer.
Description:
Sleekly designed floor lamp, in black/silver finish.
The crescent-shaped shade is tiltable and equipped with a dimmer.
Marble base.
Height adjustable to a maximum of 200 cm.
Height: extendable from: 180/200 cm.
Width 'Crescent'/reflector: 36 cm x 22 cm.
Diameter marble base: 34 cm.
The lamp has stood the test of time and is in good vintage condition with signs of use.
The dimmer works via the slide on the black plug.
The silver housing of the halogen bulb is slightly yellowed - see photos. There are very small speckles on the rod, but they match the age of the chrome - see photo (close-up). The dimmer on the lamp works through the black floor box, not through the slider in the shade.
