Product description
A true glassmaking artwork, this blown-glass vase from the 1960s–70s is a unique piece with an elliptical flattened shape, typical of the artisanal productions from Southern France, likely from the Biot or Vallauris workshops.
The glass displays subtle plays of light — a deep black base enriched with blue pigments and suspended silver-foil inclusions. Its slightly flared neck, high transparency, and visible pontil mark reveal the craftsmanship of a master glassmaker.
A singular and expressive piece, both sculpture and vessel, ideal for a design, arty, or collector’s interior.
