A very rare Mah Jong "lounge" sofa from the first line, designed by Hans Hopfer and Philippe Roche (Roche Bobois).
In 1970, Philippe Roche and his colleague Hans Hopfer met designer Hopfer during a trip to Germany. Hopfer's design for a sofa that allows you to "live on the ground floor," initially called "Lounge," has been Roche Bobois' best-selling sofa design since 1990 under the new name "Mah Jong."
