Product description
Rare Finn Juhl NV-53 Sofa, designed in 1953 and produced by Niels Vodder in Denmark. The refined teak frame is characterized by exposed, organically shaped armrests and brass joints, while the upholstered seat and back appear to hang as a separate volume within the wooden structure. This example has been deliberately preserved in its original condition and bears an old “Made In Denmark” brand mark on the frame. The existing olive green upholstery shows clear signs of use and patina; upon request, the sofa can be professionally reupholstered in a fabric of your choice. Sourced from the home of a well-known German art and design collector. A rare and collectible design by Finn Juhl in original vintage condition.
