Charming fine earthenware pitcher, likely from the St. Uze workshops, dating from the 19th century (1850-1870). It has a bulbous shape with an elegant side handle, decorated with floral motifs and cobalt blue trefoils applied with a stamp on a cream background. The pitcher has developed a crackled patina with age. The rim of the neck shows some wear, indicating use.
Height 16cm, width 16cm including handle, maximum diameter 12cm. Overall good condition with two discreet hairlines on the neck, a minor manufacturing flaw or wear on the base (not significant and inconspicuous), a worn, slightly frosted neck, and some crazing, mainly at the base. It has a patina. Approximately 700g.
