“Papillon Dog” enameled porcelain figurine, Lladró, 20th century – Spain Charming porcelain from the prestigious Spanish manufacturer Lladró, representing a Papillon dog. It appears seated, with its tail curled behind its back and the distinctive ears of this breed facing upward. The details are highly realistic, especially in the fur. The soft color is characteristic of Lladró porcelain, which shines thanks to its enamel finish. The lower part features the signature “Lladró. Made in Spain”. A Brief History of Lladró The Lladró factory is, without a doubt, one of the most representative porcelain houses in Spain. Since its founding in the 1950s, brothers Juan, José, and Vicente Lladró have managed to maintain their legacy and expand internationally, all thanks to their excellent manufacturing carried out in their hometown of Valencia.
