Exceptional light object named 'Fifty Fifty’ in very good condition.
The lamp can be used as a table lamp, floor lamp and sconce.
Designed by Paul Talman in the 1965, Switzerland.
The base of the lamp is executed in aluminum and holds nine rotating plastic balls, each ball has 'ON' printed to the white side and 'OFF' printed to the black side.
Each balls can be rotated to create different patterns.
The lamp needs 9 x QT9/12 V 10W/G4 halogen bulbs.
Trained in Bern as a lithographer, Paul Talman was a Swiss sculpture and artist known for abstract work and "motion pictures". Starting in 1960 he created his famous models and ball images as kinetic objects that earned him worldwide noteriety. While in the United States, Talman designed for Knoll and patented several projects and inventions.
