Its shape is that of country coffeepots, tall and cylindrical, with a slightly raised spout that gives its silhouette an almost stately bearing. On the body, a hand-painted bouquet unfurls its graphic, dark stems: a yellow tulip opens wide, accompanied by pink and mauve anemones with generous petals. The same bouquet, more tightly composed, adorns the lid. Touches of cobalt blue on the spout, handle, and around the edge of the lid provide a vivid counterpoint to the whiteness of the faience. The lid is held in place by a small metal ring, a practical and discreet detail that speaks to the care taken with these everyday objects. French faience, 1950s-1970s. Height approximately 19 cm.
