In 1992, John Cerneüs, who works under the name Fabian, began his artistic career by creating artistic objects, sculptures, and statues from scrap iron and various metals.
In 1995, Fabian met Herman Brood in his studio, and from that moment on, an intensive collaboration developed.
Herman taught Fabian the finer points of painting, and the two collaborated on numerous paintings, with Fabian frequently creating the background.
