Product description
Exceptionally rare French Europhane wall lamp, produced in collaboration with Thorn.
You can read a lot about Europhane, the designer of the Holophane design lamps/design classics, on the internet. This wall lamp is made of glass (sphere), with a plastic holder. Everything is completely original, undamaged, and fully preserved. There are very light scratches on the porcelain holder for the lamp used to switch it on. We have even managed to preserve the packaging in reasonably good condition. You can see how the electrical wire is attached in the photos. Presumably from the 1970s.
The lamp will be excellently packaged and shipped; the dimensions listed below are +/- 14.5 cm. We measure a diameter of 14.5 cm for the lamp, and a depth of 18.5 cm from the rim to the top of the glass sphere. The height is also +/- 14.5 cm.
