Product description
As art lovers, and especially art that moves us, we were fortunate enough to acquire this artwork. A beautiful, breathtaking hand-painted piece in vibrant colors, inspired by the rich traditions of (almost certainly) African culture.
At first glance, the composition shows three elegantly stylized women with traditional headpieces. However, there is something special going on here. There is a degree of optical illusion at work here as well. The longer you look, the more details you see. The 'bodies' merge into a single undulating movement, causing the artwork to switch between three separate women and one dynamic figure. A face is also visible in between, particularly due to the use of the effect of the white rings.
The painting is signed in the lower right corner by an artist unknown to us, who, in our opinion, has delivered a higher-level artwork. The work/canvas is mounted in a stylish, deep black wooden floating frame (shadow-joint frame). This makes the painting appear to 'float' within the frame, creating a beautiful modern and spacious effect on the wall. Thanks to the warm tones (red, yellow, white) combined with the deep blue, this is an absolute mood setter in both modern and worldly/bohemian interiors.
The back is sturdily finished and features a hanging eyelet, so the work can be hung directly on the wall. Both the painting and the floating frame are in very good condition, with some signs of use here and there on the frame.
