Unique!
A marvelous 19th-century triptych of antique mirrors, crafted from wood and gilt stucco in the Louis XV/Rocaille style.
Each of the three mirrors is framed with finely carved Rocaille ornamentation.
The wood, gilded with oil/gold leaf in certain areas, displays a warm patina with a light, velvety matte finish characteristic of antique gilding.
Each frame has a slender shape with curved edges, punctuated by cascading acanthus leaves, foliate scrolls, and outstretched shells, typical of the Louis XV style.
The central mirror, more rounded, stands out subtly with its different pediment, giving the whole a striking presence.
The frame's border features a raised, beaded or gadrooned design.
The back was restored a few years ago.
Hanging points are provided at the top and bottom, allowing you to choose the hanging direction.
The mirrors are antique and in very good condition. The frames are also in good condition with only a few minor nicks.
They have a lovely patina from age.
Hang them together or separately, according to your taste and preference.
