RVSP was founded in 1992 by Sottsass with the aim of creating a new artistic concept of postmodern and radical design and glass. He asked for the collaboration of contemporary architects and designers. Each of the company's pieces was a small-scale, one-of-a-kind, handmade piece. Most of them can be seen in museums.
