In 2008, Leentje Linders received a personal commission from Queen Beatrix for a work of art. In that same year, she received the BAS-Grafiek Prize for the etching 'Apollo 13' and won second place at the same prize in 2010. In 2012, she was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau.
