The retailer and importer G.J.A. Goosen is located in Hilversum. Goosen has an eye for modern tableware design and felt that the German company Eschenbach, which he represented, was lagging behind. To help them stay on track, he introduced the company to Andries Dirk Copier. Apparently with success, because in 1955, his first tableware, Larissa, appeared in the Eschenbach showroom.
Larissa enjoyed great international sales success and was available in many versions, some decorated and others undecorated.
