‘Kangaroo’ / ‘Z Chair’ dining chair designed by Ernst Moeckl for Horn Collection, late 1960s/early 1970s. The design plays with balance and tension: a flowing Z-shape where the seat and base appear to grow from a single sculptural whole. The deep brown lacquered finish has a warm, almost liquid sheen that subtly catches the light and emphasizes the curves. The shell conforms slightly to the body and is surprisingly comfortable despite its minimalist character. Made of sturdy PU plastic with a solid, stable base. In good vintage condition with light signs of use and minor signs of wear in the lacquer, visible in detail photos. Two available, price per piece.
