Product description
Elegant English mahogany dressing table dating from the first half of the 19th century, William IV period, circa 1825-1845.
This system washstand rests on tapered legs ending in brass sabots and castors. The top opens with two side flaps forming large auxiliary surfaces. The central part reveals a large circular housing for the basin, two openings for toilet bottles, and several small compartments.
The front features several drawers and retains its brass handles. The lower part includes an extractable element still containing its earthenware basin. Brass carrying handles are also present on the sides.
Beautiful old patina and marked decorative character. Good general condition considering its age, with traces of use, wear, and small losses. Some marks are visible on the top. The various movable elements are functional.
