This high mahogany armchair, an English piece from the late 19th century, belongs to the Arts and Crafts movement. It was produced by J.S. Henry. The top of the backrest is finished with a marquetry band featuring a geometric lozenge. The seat and back are studded. The seat fabric shows slight wear, as seen in the photos. This armchair has a beautiful patina.
