Product description
This square trivet is made of vitrified enamel on a steel plate. The central medallion, on an ivory cream background, depicts a generous bouquet in a woven basket. Voluminous reddish-brown peonies dominate the composition, accompanied by blue cornflowers, yellow daisies, and ears of wheat, printed by polychrome transfer. The outer border displays an intact brown crackled net pattern, with floral medallions at the four corners. The back is black lacquered metal, mounted on four original rubber feet. The manufacturer is not identified. The piece measures approximately 20 cm square, dating from the 1970s to 1980s. The central decoration shows enamel flaking and wear to the transfer print, reflected in the price. The border is intact.
