A fantastic vintage tripod design vase, balloon vase, snifter vase, made in Empoli, Italy during the Mid-Century Modern era (60s/70s). A real eye-catcher :-) with an incredible pop of color. The vase is crafted from cased glass (incamiciato, colored glass with an opaline white inner layer), which gives the vase its characteristic, deep lemon yellow color. The spherical body rests on three elegant, hand-drawn legs of clear glass. This tripod model is seen much less frequently than standard vases on a round base, making it a beloved collector's item.
