This masterfully crafted Biedermeier-style chest of drawers from the mid-20th century perfectly captures the golden warmth and elegant design of bygone eras. When we received this piece in our workshop, it quickly became clear: a coat of lacquer would be a travesty. The breathtaking, symmetrically mirrored pyramid walnut veneer is a work of art in itself. We decided to gently awaken this masterpiece from its slumber, to thoroughly clean it, and to bring out the radiance of its natural, warm patina – complemented by an invisible detail that brings it firmly into the 21st century.

Careful Restoration: The wood was gently deep-cleaned and treated with high-quality care products to bring out the fine grain of the walnut veneer to its fullest.
A modern upgrade for everyday life: We've expertly integrated a generous cable management system into the back panel. This transforms the classic chest of drawers in no time into an elegant hi-fi unit, a TV console, or a stylish hiding place for your Wi-Fi router.

Authentic character with nostalgic charm
"Aurelius" isn't a sterile, mass-produced piece of furniture, but rather a characterful piece with its own story. A particularly charming detail from its past: Where keys once sat, beautiful vintage knobs in a sophisticated tortoiseshell/amber finish were mounted over the keyholes sometime during the last century. This little historical anecdote gives the cabinet its distinctive character today. The slight, age-related irregularities in the wood are not flaws, but rather the lifelines of a piece of furniture that has been cherished for decades.
