The E2, Egon Eiermann table made by Richard Lampert in Germany, is an elegant classic table suitable for the office, studio or as a dining table. This table is made from oak with a melamine finish, the oak is visible on the sides. The table top was custom made to at 100 cm x 200 cm, by Modulor in Berlin a certified E2 retailer. With its minimal industrial modernist design, the tubular steel frame, visible structure, are classic form over ornamentation. The tubular steel frame allows for lots of leg room, and the size creates a great amount of surface space for all your needs, from co-working to dining.
This table looks great in many different environments, with older architecture it adds an elegant modern form, to newer buildings as a perfect accent for modern design.
In the photos you can see the damage, on the top, barely noticeable and on the underside, I have placed a pencil beside to show the small size of the chipped areas.
The original table frame design by Egon Eiermann was created in 1953. This “Eiermann 2” frame and design is an adaptation from around 1965, created by his architects and assistants at the Technical University Karlsruhe, and now manufactured by Richard Lampert.
