Eero Saarinen for Knoll International – Tulip Dining Table, circa 1960
An iconic Tulip dining table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International, dating from circa 1960. This celebrated design is widely regarded as one of the most influential works of modernism, created to eliminate what Saarinen described as the “slum of legs” beneath traditional tables.
The table features the signature single pedestal base in white-coated cast aluminum, paired with a round top that creates a harmonious and sculptural presence. Its clean lines and balanced proportions make it a timeless piece that integrates effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with signs of use consistent with age. The table edge previously had minor chips, which have been professionally restored.
