🌾 “Early Morning Milk” | Wedgwood Fine Bone China | Chris Howells | Country Days | Limited Edition | Mint Condition
A beautiful porcelain wall plate from the “Country Days” series — depicting the life of a rural community in a bygone age, painted by British artist Chris Howells and made by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Limited of Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent — England’s most renowned porcelain house, founded in 1759.
🎨 “Early Morning Milk” depicts a nostalgic English village scene: a milkman on his horse-drawn cart rides through a picturesque village with thatched roofs and half-timbered houses, while a farmer and his son receive the milk, chickens graze, and a dog happily walks along. A timeless ode to English rural life of yesteryear.
