One of the most iconic designs in the Danish design history. This chair was originally designed for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen in 1958, which doubled as a showroom for Danish design. The Egg chair design has become one of the most instantly recognizable silhouettes in modern furniture, symbolizing the era’s embrace of organic form and lasting elegance.
This specific chair and ottoman have been manufactured in September 1963 as stated by the manufacturer label underneath the seating.
