Sicilian ex voto painting on wood, dating to the early 20th century. This maritime votive image depicts a ship caught in turbulent waters, with divine light appearing in the sky—a classic symbol of a miraculous event at sea. Marked "P. G. R." (Per Grazia Ricevuta / By Grace Received), these devotional objects were offered in gratitude for divine intervention.
