Alexander Girard Upholstery Collector's Item
This unique Eames Lounge Chair was purchased in October 2023 from a former Herman Miller employee in Holland, Michigan. He received the chair as a retirement gift.
The chair was new, but had a small scratch on the main shell. We disassembled all the wooden parts, touched up the scratch, and professionally refinished it.
Crafted in black ash veneer with visible wood grain and upholstered in the iconic Alexander Girard Checker fabric (1965), sustainable and Greenguard Gold certified.

The checker upholstery, designed by textile master Alexander Girard, gives the chair a playful graphic accent.
