A true design classic is moving in: the Eames Lobby Chair ES108. This model, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, was originally developed for the lobby areas of exclusive office buildings and remains one of the iconic pieces of midcentury design history.
The chair features black leather with a chrome-plated aluminum frame. The leather is in very good condition with only slight, age-related color changes, but no cracks or drying out.
The piece has been completely refurbished: disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and the leather carefully regreased. The metal was cleaned and polished, and the swivel mechanism was removed, cleaned, and regreased. The chair is therefore in very good overall condition, ready for use. Minor signs of wear and minimal wear to the chrome in a few places do not detract from its appearance.
